The Efficiency and Accuracy of Japanese Rail Workers

The “Shinkansen,” Japan’s bullet train system, is very rarely delayed. In fact, their “on time” and safety records are near impeccable. What can we learned from the Shinkansen’s rail workers to apply to our own lives? Can a certain technique help us to forget less and be more efficient?

A Blog With Purpose

Promoting an attitude of gratitude.

Let's have an attitude of gratitude, y'all! This isn't to acknowledge that bad things don't happen in life. They do. But, the reality is that even small victories are worth treasuring. Especially when the going gets tough, the need to be grateful is that much greater!

Sharing experiences and insights.

I am not an expert. But, I do have life experience. You know something I don't know, and I might know something you don't know. One of my blog goals is to share personal experiences that might be good for the edification of others.

Why I Do This.

To help others find daily treasures in their lives.

Our lives are too precious to live without realizing that there is so much to treasure every single day.  Unearthing a day’s treasure is harder some days, but we can always make a choice to count our blessings.  My passion is to empower people to be grateful for the current treasures of their lives, and to push people to plan and look forward to future treasures.

[ Guiding Principles for 2019 ]

  1. Save More, Spend Less – I want this principle to empower me to joyfully support others financially and chase personal pursuits that I’ve been putting off for a while.
  2. Get Into The Habit Of Reading – The best minds in business read often.  Mark Cuban (billionaire owner of the Dallas Mavericks) says books are worth it if we take away even one helpful concept.
  3. Invest In The Highest Priorities – Although my heart wants to fit everyone and everything into my schedule, it’s just not possible.  My focus is 100% of me to the people and things that matter most.
